Another Recipe that I completely love! Chicken Stir Fry is so delicous!
2 cups of rice
4 cups water
2/3 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 tablespoon of sesame oil
1 green bell pepper, cut into matchsticks
1 (8 ounce) can sliced water chestnuts, drained
1 head broccoli, broken into florets
1 cup sliced carrots
1 onion, cut into large chunks
Bring rice and water to a boil in a saucepan over high heat. Reduce heat to medium-low, cover, and simmer until rice is tender, and liquid has been absorbed, 20 to 25 minutes.
Combine soy sauce, brown sugar, and corn starch in a small bowl; stir until smooth. Mix ginger, garlic, and red pepper into sauce; coat chicken with marinade and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes.
Heat 1 tablespoon sesame oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir bell pepper, water chestnuts, broccoli, carrots, and onion until just tender, about 5 minutes. Remove vegetables from skillet and keep warm.
Remove chicken from marinade, reserving liquid. Heat 1 tablespoon sesame oil in skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir chicken until slightly pink on the inside, about 2 minutes per side; return vegetables and reserved marinade to skillet. Bring to a boil; cook and stir until chicken is no longer pink in the middle and vegetables are tender, 5 to 7 minutes. Serve over rice.

Let me just say when you are looking for Christmas presents to buy for friends and family it gets a little stressful. So I came up with two ideas for a gifts!
The first gift idea is a picture in a frame. I know it seems unoriginal but you can actually put your own twist on it to make it your own.
I bought this photo frame at Michaels for $6. Then I printed out my favorite photo of the person I am giving it to! I then added little notes, inside jokes, and quotes on the outside of the picture in different colors. And since we have a joke about frappuccinos I am going to buy her favorite Starbuck’s frappuccino.
The second gift idea is my favorite. I went to Target on Black Friday and found a throw blanket for $10, and a picture frame for $4. This idea was so cute and I would love to receive a gift like this! In the photo frame I am going to put a picture of my friend and me.
I am also going to buy a bag of her favorite candy and add it to the gift. This gift will definitely last a long time and is very thoughtful.
The reason why I chose these to gifts to show you is because they are all very personal. I always like getting a more personal gift then a gift that is just store bought. I love the two picture frames because it really shows you put time and effort into there gifts and that you really care about them.
“Show me your friends I’ll show you your future.”-Unknown
This quote is so important for people to think about. When I look at the people I hang out with I know that they are going to motivate me to always be at my best. But if your friends are on drugs and drinking alcohol then you will most likely become an addict too. So when you look at your friends ask yourself, “Are they making me a better person? Or worse?”
Do your friends have good grades? Are they respectful to everyone even if they don’t like them? Are they cautious? And the most important question, am I happy when I’m around them?
If you can answer all these questions with a “yes” then you have a great group of people that will stay by your side.
So what does this quote really mean? It means that if you show me your friends and how they act then I will show what your future will be like. Your actions speak louder than words. So show respect towards yourself and others. Remember you are a great person you just have to show the world that, and if you stick with the right group of friends then your future will turn out just the way you would like it to be.
Tie Dye Shirts are the new style! These shirts are so easy to make and they are a great craft to do with friends or family!
In Order to make the shirts you can purchase different color dyes from crafts stores. I purchased Tulips Dye from Michaels. I got a four pack with refill color packets for about $20. The Pack came with green, blue, pink, and purple.
There are so many designs you can do really easily! My favorite design is the spray effect. In order to complete this design with the best turn out you will need a spray bottle. Remember you are putting dye in it so it might not be able to be used for other things after. Then choose the colors you want and get started.
Lay your Tee Shirt in a place where it is okay to spray the colors
Pick your color you would like to start with and pour it into the spray bottle
Spray the color onto any area on the shirt
When you are ready switch the color and put it into the washed spray bottle
Keep doing this pattern until satisfied
Wait 24 hours and let the shirt sit in the dye
Turn Shirt inside out and put in the washer
The washer should be on the HIGH setting and use hot water
Put your shirt in the dryer
Enjoy your new product
These shirts are so fun to make and I hope you give it try! I hope you Enjoy!
This heart photo wall decor is adorable! I found this idea on Pinterest and took it into my own hands. I printed out 43 of my favorite photos of my family and friends. If you have decided to put these photos on your wall do not use tape or glue! Make sure to find a sticky substance that says it is okay to put on your wall. Here are the step by step instructions below.
